free money to help pay bills

in response to mandabear2007...   go to your local energy assistance agency. There they have programs to help you. They help with water turned on, food, car repairs, electric and much more. They also have a homeless package available where they give you money as soon as you find a place. Sounds to me you found a place so just go there and ask for the homeless fund. They may call it by another name but most counties I know have this fund available. Also ask for the salvation army fund. They are able to help a few people a year for rent, food, bills and all/ Hope this helps

in response to nanilani1211...   Go to www.modestneeds.com this is a site where you provide a unusually bill to them and they help you. Once you provide all the necessary paperwork you will then be in donor review where donors allocate their points to your bill. Once you receive all the points that you needs they will write a check to the company you provided and pay your bill. Please read carefully b/c this isn't an instant thing it can take a couple months before you allocate all points you need. The most you can request is $1000 but I recommend a small amount to be requested so that you get all your points in a timely matter. The bigger the amount the longer it'll take. But it's worth a shot

in response to stellar...   About you electric, call your electric company; mine is AmerenIP, and ask about their PIPP program, This is a program that is provided within your electric company that allows your energy assistance place to fund for people. Although they can only accept a small amount of people you can try and see about getting on this program. For instance, I am on this program and I paid $10 a month for the first year, This is my second year being on it and I now pay $85 a month b/c my income increased. They go based on your income. I didn't have any income my first year that's why I only paid $10 a month. Call your electric company and request for this program or ask about any program they have that can help you. Other than budget billing. Budget billing seems good but they hit you at the beginning of each year with what you didn't pay. PIPP pays everything else other than your co-pay. Say your monthly payment is $85 and you electric is $410 PIPP pays $325 and you pay $85 all year long until they call you in and get updated on your income. Hope this helps

in response to thebratr...   Go to your local community center. And sign up for TANF. This is a program esp for pregnant teens (if you are one) and for pregnant women needing help. They give you money for bus tickets and help you go to school as well as food and possibly a place to live. Its temporary assistance for needy families. Also go to the WIC department which is located at your local health department. They give you coupons for milk food everything you need while your pregnant. Keep your head up. Everything happens for a reason and make this reason into a positive one although your in a negative position

Go to this website www.modestneeds.org this is a grant company. What you do is you go to the website and find where is says apply. Put all your information in and in the instructions it'll tell you how and what you need to send them. You send them copy of your license, your lease/rental agreement and a copy of the bill you need them to pay. But the maximum amount they can pay is $1000. So the bill has to fall within the $1000 mark inorder for them to process your grant. I hope this helps. Good luck

in response to nyasgram...   Hello, go to this website and in the links on the page click on Rural home improvement loans and grants. The loans are for very very low income families that need home repairs and theres also self help loan programs. The loan amount is $20,000 at 1% interest for 20 years. You would pay $1000 a year back for 20 years until its paid off. The grants are for 62 years of age or older and the grant amounts are $7500. I hope this helps you. And always keep your head up

in response to confused&scared...   Since your daughter is bipolar and financially puts a hardship on your family you can get SSI for her. The website is www.socialsecurity.org go to file SSI and fill out the online child report. After you have filed the online report.. You still need to call your local Social Security office to complete the application. Once you've completed the 2 steps you should feel a little at ease that help is on the way. Hope this helps and good luck with your daughter.

in response to Supportive Mom...   Hello, I understand your position and your daughters as well. I have experienced this circumstance myself. There is a company called CCR&R..What you do is Google as follows: CCR&R then put your city and state. For instance I would type in CCR&R Du Quoin, Illinois then click search. Click the website and find your county. This is assistance for child care. Not too long ago I had lost my job and still needed child care for my 2 kids so I could continue College. My monthly payments were $15 a month. And the state paid the rest. She needs to go to her local Department of Human Resources and apply for food stamps and she can as well get cash assistance on her link card aka food stamps. Once she's approved for that she can a medical card for each one of her kids and herself. Although her ex cant hold a job her local DHS office can start a child support order for the kids and once he gets a job she will get the money. If he doesn't find a way to pay once the order is established he will lose his license and a number of other things. Go to your local energy assistance company and they have a number of resources and assistance programs for vehicles as well. I hope this helps

in response to in desprate need...   Hello, I am a mother of 2 kids and was in position where you are; although my bill never got that high, but Liheap helped me some but mt electric company is AmernIP, they have a program within their company called the PIPP program. They go by your income. My first year I payed $10/Month and my second year I paid $85/Month. Say your monthly bill is $370 you pay $85 they pay the remaining every single month for a whole year every year. And each year you take in your paystubs to your local energy assistance agency and they calculate what you can spend on your monthly bill. It was a huge relief for my family. I hops this helps.
